Jet sled

I have the large also and agree. I can rest the nose on the tailgate of my truck and lift it from the back like a seesaw. Also fits 2 Fallow Does in problem. Theses sled really have been a game changer as allowed me to head into spots I wouldn’t have gone as couldn’t drag that sort of longer distance. The sled makes it effortless specially in frost. Just wish I ordered the wear runners when I bought it last year

Hi everyone

Looking at options for sleds, mainly roe but to handle fallow too

How does the jet sled jr handle fallow? Although can't seem to find one in stock anywhere to be fair

Going to double up as carcass tray in the boot of the car
I was fortunate enough to pick up a Jet Sled JR at the gamefair some years ago for only £25. I've never had a problem with flexibility but I've never abused it either realising that it's far less durable than the heavy duty sleds/tubs that you can buy from Europe. The only alteration that I have made to mine is fitting a timber batten to spread the bearing load from the drag rope (preventative measure only). Mine also doubles up as a carcass tray and fits the car and fitted in my Suzuki Jimny just fine.
I use mine for fallow and I consider it to be one of the best bits of stalking kit that I have ever purchased.

P.S. It's also doubled up as a sled for my granddaughter to use in the snow and to drag/carry logs over the lawn.

For those looking for a cover watch this space, they should be available soon for around £30, top quality bit of kit, I have field tested one, keeps carcass clean and will stop the flies getting in as the warmer months start.
The covers Barry @Stirlinggundogs sells are first class, they last 100 plus deer a year for me, only wear on the knobbly wheels on the Glade Deer Mgt trailer when full

Here are the details sizes in old money.... photos on the website Jet Sled 1.
If you have a dog box/ drawers in your pickup then yes you will need to measure before purchase but if not then Ive not had any reports JS1 wont fit lengthways...
Sizes in inches:

Jet Sled Jr : 43 x 21 x 8

Jet Sled 1 : 54 x 25 x 10

2 x JS1 will fit side by side in the back of an Isuzu, just. Length not a problem but they do overlap fractionally.

@SussexSteve Random, how do you find the 12v system in the back ? I’ve seen similar on Temu /amazon and have been tempted , decent amount of pressure or does it just dribble out?
Here’s the jetsled1 against the ottersled. Not much in them quality wise. I’ve had 2 big fallow bucks in the jetsled. Easy to load by putting one end on the tailgate and lifting the other end up and in. Covers by deertraycovers.co.uk
