Juvenile Cull

Just been watching FieldSports Britain - Precision Deer Management and they cull a yearling sika hind out of season saying it is legal - I cant find any legal reference to this being allowed, although I can vaguely remember something about it - any one got any pointers. (THIS IS NOT A WITCH HUNT).

There are licences available for out of season shooting (A16 in England) or certain allowable actions under the deer act for out of season culling.

Yes Im aware of these but I got the impression it was contained in the main legislation

Probably section 7 of the deer act

If it’s Scotland, the General Authorisation allows OOS for females under a year old.

Section 6 deer act. Dependant deer isn’t just on age alone. England and wales anyway.
