Although it is a factor in determining choice. If you want a truck and they all do pretty much the same job, why get one that only does 20mpg if you can get another that does 30?
seriously that is amazing. My Nav is 56 plate ok i got BFG ATsn on and the best i get is 28 and that is using an app as i have found on board computer is 2mpg out. Is your truck chipped or had a re map.
Not as far as I know, certainly not since I've had it and the garage haven't said anything, nor is there anything in the history. It's dropped to 35.5 at the moment. This is from my twenty mile round trip to work, three miles each way getting to the motorway and seven miles each way on the M5 with the cruise control set on 70mph. On a longer run to Hampshire it goes up to average 38mpg.
I guess the tyres you run are a factor, what fuel do you put in it?
I gave up with supermarket fuel as the mpg return wasn't as good as with premium fuel, the performance was sluggish and I got a lot of smoke. After a £1200 garage bill I have avoided supermarket diesel like the plague.
