Larder rails

So following on from a question I raised about using scaffold poles to make a suitable larder hanging system, I stumbled upon a company on eBay selling “meat rails”, I did a bit of background searching and found the company who are cheaper to buy from directly than on their eBay shop.
Theyre very helpful to deal with and their pricing is brilliant compared to many, and they’re not fussed if you only want small bits of track or just meat hooks etc, all business is good business. So I’ve spent today trying to suitabley brace my chiller to accommodate some red stags later in the year, and I’m really impressed with the tracked meat rails they’ve supplied me with; wholeheartedly recommend them.
(I know using blocks of wood inside the chiller probably isn’t the best for hygiene and in time I will replace with something better but I needed some spacers and they were to hand!)

Thanks for the feedback - stumbled across these myself recently and was seriously considering them.

I was really happy with them. I had my concerns the ally rail
wouldnt be sturdy enough but it’s bloody heavy duty. The only niggle I have is with the corner units they supply, these are galvanised steel and I think they could have thought of a better way of overcoming corners, to be honest having now seen the rail in the flesh I’d be tempted to cut 90 degree end and butt them together rather than use the rounded corner bits. Also the corner units have 6mm holes where all the ally is drilled for 10 or 12mm, I couldn’t for the life of me drill the holes out bugger in the corner sections so they’re supported on 6mm threaded bar where the whole of the rest of the system is supported on 10mm which just feels a lot more robust!
Still think it’s a great product though.
