Shot this sika hind down Peebles last week - weighed in at 96lbs.
Biggest I have had before this was 94lbs.
Has anyone had any around this size before as they are the biggest I have had in 11 years.
Thanks

Not quite as big but 39kg is my heaviest last year, regularly get mid 30's in kg.
Last couple of years there hasn't been much of a winter in the Borders, probably going into spring in great condition.

Had nothing quite that big, she’s a fair girl! Have noticed they’re in good nick this year, even the roe in tweed valley.

That's a good size for a Sika hind.

Heaviest stag I shot was in Dorset, on a small area I had. Head, legs, off and gralloched in the larder it scaled 150lbs. I still have the head, which is 6 points, but it was an old beast gone back. Couple of years previous to this, it would have been a very good head.

Largest stag I got when working in the Borders on an Estate was 148lbs, out the door, head and legs off, after one day in the larder. Average usually 120-130 lbs.
