Is anybody using or used any Laserluchs IR laser illuminators?? I’m curious to know if they are worth the money????
Thanks for that. To be honest the XR5 tube is amazing but wanted that little bit of extra illumination just in case.Had one on my Longbow, i found it was a little to powerful at times, so i now use the adjustable Solaris,
some evenings/nights i find i dont need much IR, so the adjustable type work fine.
Thank you. I have the PBiR but think a more compact/lighter IR would be more suited to the Longbow because over time a lot of weight on the NV unit is not good for the connection between it and the actual scope. The starlight firefly is the ideal combination obviously but trying to get one is almost impossible!!Look at PBIR or similar, or if you have all the ability to see, identify and shoot out to, and beyond 500yds then spend the money on the overpriced IR.

Yes changing the mounts was my next option because the Tier one mounts I’m using don’t leave any room on the scope tube for any other form of IR mount.Ah ! right then, simpler solution to everything would be to look at attaching the ir to the scope and "not" the NV unit,
I did not rate the firefly, it was too patchy, and burns tubed.
Do you mean on the scope tube like this?I have mine mounted on the tube and not the NVunit, have a look at the Laserluchs ball torch mount .
