Ordered a bore guide for my R8, on the back of excellent write ups of the original Shooting Shed ones. Waited 6 weeks - two ignored emails in that period (not the best customer experience). Anyway, it’s finally arrived. Shorter than expected I.e. doesn’t stick out the back of the action which I would expect the ribbed section. Worse, it doesn’t slide into the chamber when the o-ring is on. Defeats the object if I can’t use with the o-ring. I’ve asked whether the o-ring groove in the guide isn’t cut deep enough or simply that the ring supplied is too thick - nobody seems to know. Bit of a whinge but finding it hard to believe this is the first R8 they’ve made a guide for - shooting community is pretty hot on giving [constructive] feedback. What they’ve sent is beautifully machined but it’s essentially a £50 paperweight as it is. Any one else have experience?

I bought one a few years back for a Sako action as you say very tight fit beautiful machined highly polished aluminium
I ended up giving it away on here
