Last time I rang Chameau they gave me a number of a firm who they recommend to do the zips I think they said it was about £80 at the time.
I'm sorry to say I don't have the number to hand as it was a couple of years ago, I'm sure if you ring they can help
Normally, mine are open. However if I am trying to be stealthy, closing the zip prevents that annoying and noisy slap on the back of ones legs, which seams much loader at 1st light.

Just ordered a new pair from Le Chameau
They are in black but reduced from £360 to £199 a pair
When your walking in mud does it matter what colour they are
The zip puller snapped on both my wellingtons
I drilled a hole through and put a piece of para cord in to pull up the zip
The zip has now totally broken
Not wellies but gaters, when zip pull has snapped off I've used a small key ring through the zipper & then a loop of para cord through that. Works a treat provide the zip itself is still working & a lot less than £80 for a new zip!
I used cable ties when the zip puller snaps, I did once have a zip replaced in leather riding boots , it was cheaper to buy the zip from America at the time and get my local cobbler to replace it, not sure if your local cobbler would have a go ?
Zips fine but I've lost both the metal chameau badges of the front of my heritage boots and chameau have said they can't help if anyone knows any where ( sorry to hijack the thread)
