Lead ban and 6mm creedmoOR

Looks like 6mm creedmoor is staying lead even though the bore is 6.18mm and the ban is anything over 6.17mm

Is this right?

Errrr no. Only on ranges that recover the lead.

Unfortunately not, while it’s called a 6mm it still uses .243 diameter bullets which are just over the threshold for the ban.

The 6mm Creedmoor has:-
A bore diameter of 6.02mm (.237”) and a groove diameter of 6.17 mm (.243”).

A bullet diameter of 6.182mm - 0.076mm (.243” - 0.0030”)
