If possible comment calibre in which you are using the bullet.
Also any good or bad experiences of them.
Add any others i may have missed.

6.5x47L - 100 TTSX (3200FPS)

.308 Win - 130 TTSX (3050FPS)
150 Merlin (2790FPS)

.300 WSM - 130 TTSX (3650FPS) V. Messy
150 TTSX (3342FPS) Tidy

7RM - 120 TTSX (3250FPS)

I’ve used all of these at one point or another. All have done the job well on red, roe, fallow and sika (2299FPS+ Terminal Velocity).

I’ll be trying the 175 LRX in my .300 this next year once it’s been rebarrelled (hopefully back soon!)

Hope this is what you were looking for.

Kind regards,

Ben

6.5x55 112gn Yew Tree (2850fps), 118gn Peregrine VLR4 (2840fps)
30-06 165gn Fox (2700fps)

all worked well. used Barnes before which were fine too but more difficult to source now

130gr in .270 ttsx
130gr in .270 winchester
125gr in .270 nielson sonic
110gr in .270 ttsx
130gr in .308 fox hunter

All kill deer effectively with no problems.

Used the Peregrine VLR4s in 25 Cal out of a 257 Roberts. Accurate but did not like the terminal performance, 2 slow kills, both needed follow up shots.

Interestingly, my mate used 150gr VLR4s in a 30-06 and much better results.

I have some 100gr Nosler E-Tips that I am tuning to shoot in the .257 Roberts. Hopefully they will give better results.

Scrummy

243 85gr TSX
270 110gr TTSX
used on fallow all season with no issues other perhaps than blood trail.

Sako powerhead II, with Barnes ttsx bullets (I think I'm very into the details). in .270.
Just as good as any lead ammo I have used

80.5gr Yew Trees in the 243… nothing but good results so far on fallow. Looking to try the 6.5 variant in the near future…

130 Fox in 7x57
140 RWS HIT in 7x65R
100gn Peregrine in 243

All very accurate, kill on the spot or short run. Clean carcass. Better than lead ammo IMHO.

Barnes TTSX
Fox
Lapua naturalis

Used a lot of these (approx 4000 in my 270 alone, plus 1000 TTSX in my 6.5x55 when i had it) and are all excellent!

Hornady GMX - AVOID LIKE THE CLAP!!!!

Too bloody hard and you will get runners!!!!

As for the others never needed to try them.
