Leaving the country on Sunday for NZ, before leaving, just a few questions
1. A good concrete mix for my dog runs
2. Is a cliff face a safe backstop
3. What is the best calibre for everything I may come across
4. Is bow hunting humane
5. Which is the best way to train a deer dog
6. My knife does not have a ball on the end, where can I get the little ball
7. My success rate has been 2.3 deer per stalk, how can I get this to a guides success rate

1. Speak with a local dairy farmer and get a ready mix batch from where they did
2. As long as you've checked no one is on it!
3. 7mmRem mag for the mountains and long range goats
4. A well placed arrow is more humane than a poorly placed bullet!
5. A little structured training every day
6. Don't bother
7. Focus more on stalking and less on stats!

What is taking you to Northland?

Enjoy your adventure NZ is a fishing and hunting paradise.

As mentioned pig hunting is decent in Northland and is a pretty full on experience that will take you fitness to a whole new level!

Fortunately you can still buy Speights and Export Gold in the North, reason enough for a move to NZ.

Regards

BP

Tried getting into Canada in the early 80s,but a recession there made it almost impossible for none Canadians to work. Regret not trying for NZ, best of luck with your adventure. Rgds Andy.
