Lee Reloading Kits?

You can't go wrong for £30 can you! The hand presses are very good. Add a set of lee dies and your there!

Me and my mate went out yesterday scoping in both our 222 rifles.

He was using PPU in his heavy barrel Sao 85. I was using my first batch of reloads which had been made up on a lee classic cast with second hand lee dies, PPU brass and 50 grain Nosler ballistic tips. My ammo has not been tweaked for my rifle, just a grain below max reccomended and to max overall length as in the reloading manual.

By the time we had finished I was putting 3 rounds into something the size of a 10p piece. His grouping was around 3 times the size.

I have no doubt his ammo would kill what he pointed it at but when I went outside my group I knew it was me who had moved. I think reloading is about reducing reasons for missing.

It's also good when it is just too cold to sit in the workshop. That's when you can get on reloading. while the misses watches crap on the telly.

What you would be best to start withis the,
LEE Breech Lock Hand Press Kit, if you buy the kit you get the lube primer seater and funnel, all you need after that is a set of lee dies with powder scoop.

Ps Henry Krank can suply you with everything you need!

there are waaay more calibres (or case sizes to pacify Brithunter!) than that
I have a .222rem and a .244 rem to name two
I have seen 300 Win Mag and .284 Win, .260Rem, 7x57 for sale aside from the multitude of pistol rounds

doubt they do the rimmed ones though.

best bet is to go onto ebay.com (specifically .com rather than .co.uk that you will be diverted to if you dont pay attention)
the .com site shows ALL US listing, not just those happy to ship overseas.
most people are happy to ship overseas if you explain it is just the same.

I buy most of my reloading stuff there, even with the $5-$18 postage costs of the flat rate boxes they still work out much cheaper

At one time Lee made over 70 different Classic Loaders. Now they have scaled back to just a handful. I still believe that if they made a Zero Error loader in some of the more popular varmint calibers it would be popular. Lee disagrees with me on that one.~Muir

Hmmm I think it's the son who disagrees with us Muir. As he is running the show now. Perhaps he will come to his senses one day we can only hope so.

just another vote for the Lee loader, I had 70 .308 cases to resize on Sunday, so as it was sunny I sat outside with a rubber hammer a block of wood and resized them all in under 20 minutes, no lubing, no trimming required (I did check) and no lube to clean off either, I had deprimed them with a universal depriming die, I had them all loaded up and away within another 11/2 or so, very easy, maybe not exactly how it was meant to be used, but it works superbly that way :D
