Absolutely useless. Not sure I will ever buy Leica again.Has anyone had any recent experience with getting Leica Binoculars serviced?
I'd be interested in your experience where they are backJust sent my binoculars direct FOC to Portugal via UPS. All arranged by Leica.

I was charged £65 for them to be sent to Leica and be inspected. No work was performed. Viking optics fixed the eyecap for a fraction of this cost.Hi JCS, What was the issue if you dont mind me asking? Customer service, quality of the actual service etc? Also, did you use Leica direct, or go via Mayfair, manchester or another ?
Tracking them via UPS so know where they are. Let you know how it goes. Sent back for a focusing issue in one barrel. They are 20years old but bright, crsip and clear as the day I got them new.I'd be interested in your experience where they are back
If warranty is of prime importance it would be worth looking at the Vortex range as their warrantee is apparently the best out there, I have certainly not heard anything to the contrary. Why are some people reporting a comprehensive free service where Leica go above and beyond yet others are being charged just to send in the binoculars to be looked at?
I'm considering a small pair from the likes of Nikon, Leupold, low end Zeiss and Leica and warranty is important to me. Leopold seem to have a lifetime warranty but dont seem to have any small or medium pairs at the moment.
