Leica Rangefinding Binos

Anyone know anything about the Leica Vector Viper rangefinder Bino's?

They seem quite an impressive piece of kit.....

I have the 8 x 42 hd and they are a good bit of kit so the rangefindings ones should fit the the same bill i use a zeiss range finder an 8 x 26 prf i have thought about swopping them for new pair a few times

Cheers - was aware of the first point, and sort of the second. What magnitude of expensive? I've been asked whether I'd be interested in a pair. Clearly they are not your average binos.

No names no pack drill; Quite a few years ago, a certain person who shall remain nameless mislaid a pair of these on Dartmoor, they were told to find them or be billed by the MOD well over £5,000 for them. Thank goodness for a bunch of good mates who gave up a free weekend and went looking for the said Vectors with the miscreant.

I have no idea what they would cost now.
