Let's all jump to the WRONG conclusion.....🙄

Personally, every deer I shoot I tend to pull the limbs off and leave lying in a field just to p.iss off dog walkers. Doesn't everyone? :-|

There is a large number of fallow in that area!
It also kicked off this time last year as "another" (probably the same) dog walker came across a couple of "murderers" hacking limbs off a deer. Funnily enough, they also called the local hunt sab group!

I heard years ago that a hill walker had phoned the police saying that they had came across a dead alien. Police arrived to find a Red deer gralloch.
This morning i was walking down by the river, there was a dead rotting muntjac in the middle of the footpath (clearly someones dog or a fox has pulled it there)... several people crowding round it and a child asked what it was, an adult responded "it appears to be a fox with horns". Some people are just plain stupid

Lets hope the "road kill" was not destroyed by lethal injection by a vet as happened on the Back Isle - raptor feeder then lays out at a kite feeding station. Kites and I think a buzzard found dead. All hell breaks loose with RSPB getting it plastered all over the media. Every local estate keeper gets raided by RSPB/Police and hauled in for questioning. When the true finally emerged it was quitely dropped with no retractions or apologies to the keepers or their families.

I like the bit where the deers spine had been ripped out, personally I rip the spine out of every deer I shoot, you just cant beat a bit of roast spine
Nothing quite stokes my ego when I'm out hunting than to rip the spine out of the animal with my bare hands and wear it like a scarf before parading around the field in it, so all other animals can see how I'm Teddy Roosevelt incarnate and really dominated the deer.
