Here's my Monkey Cave!
Built last year by myself to suit my requirements.View attachment 36084Built on a raised damp proofed and insulated reinforced concrete base. 3x2" treated frame with shiplap outer, vapour barrier, cellotex/slab wool insulation throughout and fully lined with 9mm plywood. Topped off with a Butyl Rubber flat roof and guttering. Oh, and UPVC windows and doors to match! Full electrics with seperate consumer unit fo Light circuit and ring main inside. Full laminate insulated flooring. It has portable heating and is bloody warm!
The inside remains a bit 'work in progress' and lacking in character but is useable! Full length 4.2m worktop above some old kitchen units under windows and a row of 6' metal lockers along the back. It now has a 5' x 2' x18" Steel military Thompson chest cabinet to store all my reloading gear etc in. View attachment 36085View attachment 36086View attachment 36087
As I said, work in progress, but a good start!

I'm pretty jealous of all these great man caves :/ at the moment I've just got a bit of a corner I'm setting up for reloading etc and general playing around but one day ....
I did't say I expected it to move I just wanted something to cover the pit so the kids (should they ever be allowed into the inner sanctum) don't fall in
the main one is the garage, which houses my rack shelving at the back one rack for shooting stuff ...one for fishing stuff
the coke chiller, the butchers stainless table, and the rest of the equipmen & the chest freezer fo rend result
