Long Range Head Torch

Hi, I'm looking for a long range head torch, preferably with just an on/off switch rather than one that fades each time you press the off button..
All suggestion and advice greatly appreciated..

I've got a fenix. A few years old now but the light output is brilliant. The output in lumens is what your looking for. The higher the number the more light it gives out. In theory therfore should be increased range.

I’ve got one of their hand held torches and they are very good, mine lives in the truck for emergencies, throws a hellish beam but I don’t like on it not being able to manually adjust the beam it’s just push button dim, bright, brighter and strobe, would love to be able to focus it or flood

Samalite if you want the best and last word in head torch. I used one of the halogen bulb spot lights for foxing back in the day - better than having a lamp in your hand. The old spot head torch was designed for military and search and rescue - fantastic bit of kit. Samalite now make a LED head torch that’s 2200 Lumens (not e-bay Chinese Lumens). See below

Fenix head torches are also decent quality kit with a good beam - perfect for dog walking etc.

Same here. Fenix. Lots of Lumens and variable power so you don’t drain battery too fast.

I have a MH10 Leadlenser, it’s a a good torch, but I find the on/off switch a bit of a pain! It very often dims rather than going straight off..
I’m looking for one which has a good long tight beam with just an on/off switch..
