Loss of a dear friend and site member

Very sad to hear. Guided Colin many years ago on Malcolm's ground. He didn't shoot anything but his story that day when he was on a photo safari in the Antarctic experiencing a Leopard Seal will always stay with me. We continued to meet when he started guiding for Malcolm as well. A wonderful guy and living life to the full, till the end.

I remember the first time I met Colin and we were talking about fly fishing I learnt a lot about it that I had absolutely no clue about, he had an absolute wealth of knowledge on fishing and nature.

A fantastic fly fisherman and just all round genuinely one of the nicest guys you would ever meet.

rip mate, we will have a dram for you up in Scotland this season

Very sad news
Been too many of his kind lost in the last couple of years - and all the one's I knew were claimed by the Big C
I'd repeat the common phrase from another site I haunt, but it may get me a time out - the short version F Cancer!!

The old saying that every time a man is lost a library of knowledge goes with them sounds very apt here!

RIP
