Yeah you are right Wayne, I sold the CG because the accuracy was slipping somewhat, it was nearly only nearly as bad as a Blaser. Anyway it was either buy a T3 or a Blaser. In the end I brought the T3 because it's the law that all Blaser owners must wear leather breaks and silly tassels on their socks. It’s just too much of a gay scene for me mate.
I'm not knocking it, you do what you like mate but it’s the Neo Nazi, leather clad bondage connotations that being a Blaser owner requires that doesn't appeal to me. What can I say Sorry!

You must have a Monday R93 Wayne and all the one,s I have seen must have been Friday afternoon ones!

The ones I have seen the stock has been so flexible that it has left witness marks down both sides of the barrel. Custom gun smiths do not have a good word for them and I Dont know of one who will use one as base to build a precision rifle from. The main weakness is the thing that sells them and that is the R93's Modular nature. I did in a moment of weakness think about buying an LRS1 but the Boss vetoed that one.

I bought a T3 varmint instead and couldnt be happier with it.

I must have been very lucky then, I own one in .223,.243,6.5x55 and 30.06 and just sold a .308 all without exception are accurate and reliable. I've had a Blaser getting on 10 years without a promblem.
I agree they would not be a base to build a custom rifle from but I do not think that was the plan when they were desiened.
As for the stock flexing I have a very pretty wood stock which does flex a bit and I do not like it, the others are all synthetic which I think are excellent especially the later ones with the soft inserts.

But everyone to there own.

I had a look at mine last night, you have to apply a lot of pressure to get any of mine to flex and the the clearance between side of the stock and the barrel is quite a big gap so its not gonna touch the barrel unless you apply what I would call excessive pressure they never flex with a bipod on and that normaly tests them??

While were on the subject of stocks what do you know about Remington's??

I've got a Remington synthetic in .375 H&H and I'm having trouble with that moving around, I replaced the trigger unit and since then It keeps shifting the group about 4 inches right to left every thing seems as it should be I suppose probably get it bedded?? any ideas??

Hi Bucksden
I quite liked the Remington until it played me up and I love my Blasers but after owning one in 300wsm i was a little worried about having one in .375 H&H.
