Moderator covers

can anyone recommend a company making moderator covers? I have a Freyr and Devik 149 and a Hardy Gen V. I would like to protect them from knocks in the undergrowth and reduce noise when I catch them on stuff

If you want the dogs danglies in kevlar, then Praesidia make all sorts of kit including mod sleeves, they trade through Wildcat moderators.

I once met the owner, a former combat medic, when he was working offshore, really nice guy.

Vet wrap (also known as self adhesive bandage).

Can get rolls of the stuff in camo on Amazon.

I use these, rate them well enough. Prefer them to all the fabric based covers I’ve tried.

I have one of these - very good.

“DON'T WASTE TIME WITH OTHER COVERS THAT DON'T GO THE DISTANCE!! GET A MOA STEALTH COVER!!”

well put them on an F&D and they’ll likely go the distance! Lol!

Depends on the diameter of the mod, but for my ASE Northstar I use part of a camo-neoprene sleeve intended as a cover for double shotgun-barrels.
I got one of these. The double barrel version. Stretchy so fits different sizes. Cut in half it covers 2 moderators.
Cheap but very cheerful.
Personally I wouldn’t be spending the daft money some places charge for moderator covers.

I contacted Wildcat re Praesidia. Too much faff for me. They wanted me to take my mods to RFD to get measured and quoted for. I’m not going to trouble my dealer with that faff for the few bob they’d get for it. Looks like it’s MOA, if I can find them in uk
