im after a moderator for my 308 rifle are freyr and devik any good or should i opt for a stalon, i walk and stalk so weight is an issue but i would like it as quite as possible

I like my freyer, I don't but loads of rounds down so they are good.

I'm on the hunt for an ase utra sl5 for my other barrel though to give it a go

Have a F&D for my .308, nice and light but needs to be unscrewed straight after every outing or it will seize, have friends with them and similar issue. Much prefer my DPT on another rifle

I could offer you a 30 cal T8 for £50
Had an easy life, no range use and lived on a radiator.
pm me if interested.

I handed my DPT to my mate last week in the box and before looking he asked if it was in the box?

Have the DPT on my 308 walk & stalk rig. Always use Wildcat Evos but DPT was far lighter and smaller. Tried a F&D and not impressed, although newer models maybe ok

DPT all day. Light, really good service from Bill the importer and add as many baffles as you like.
I have two and will get another when I fill my open slot

Dpt is the one you want. I have a F&D and a DPT, from some of the farm workers in the area when I tried them side by side using them on my .30-06 they reckoned the Dpt was the quietest.
They are both of similar weight but the price is miles apart and the Dpt can have modules added to it if you wanted to reduce the attenuation.
I have a first module of stainless steel and three normal modules and it is light and very good on my 30-06 and can be used on my .308 as well.
I would definitely recommend the Dpt moderator to anybody.

Archie, if you not sorted yet I have a DPT suitable for .308 and 300 Winmag surplus to requirements. Really light to use c/w neoprene cover
