Mounts for a .22 CZ Bruno

Just treated myself to a .22 Bruno to keep my eye in and reduce the bunny population.

Not wanting to spend too much as its for fun I bought a Nikko Stirling 3-9 x 50 IR mountmaster scope which I am really impressed with for the money considering what I have spent on German optics for my stalking rifles.

My question surrounds mounts. The Nikko scope came with mounts but they seem not wide enough for the CZ rail therefore the scope sits slightly off centre. Is this something I should worry about? The rail on the CZ looks approx 16mm wide do I need to purchase specific mounts?

All help appreciated.

Jason.

AT 16-mm wide it really is a Brno, not a CZ.
The rings for a CZ 527 are the ones you need, Midway list a few different ones.

I believe (99% certain?) that the dovetails are 13mm on the Brno and CZ 527. Nice score on the Brno. My #5 is the most accurate .22 sporting rifle I have ever shot.~Muir

I have some nikko sterling 1" mounts that I bought in error that would fit your rifle perfectly (assuming the scope is a 1" tube!). they also have double screw fittings so you can centre the rings rather than have the mounts up against one side and clamped on the other.
unopened and only owe me a tenner!

Thanks all for your help. My e-mail was a little misleading as I refered to both Bruno and CZ.

Yes its an earlier Bruno No2 so will explain why the dovetails are a little wider so will look for some CZ 527 compatible mounts.
