New reloader needing help.

I'm thinking about starting reloading my own ammunition.
Both for my .223, and for my .308 when I get it.
My question is, is there anyone in the Harrogate or Ripon areas that reload and wouldn't mind a chat, and perhaps a demonstration to myself ?.
I know it's a big ask, but I find it easier to take things in when I see it done, as opposed to reading about it.
I hope that makes sense ?.
Thanks guys.

good luck with your search for guidance but in the mean time the internet will show you how BUT only use reloading manual loads NOT internet loads

Enjoy the.process. it's not difficult to achieve adequate results. Just do it at a time with no distractions, take it very slow, steady and be meticulous. Not local but happy to help if needed. I think I've made most of the rookie mistakes myself.

the big question is will you be using over 200 rounds a year ,if no buy factory ,if yes enjoy your reloading journey.

Buy the Lee reloading manual read and read again.
What twist rate is your .223 as that will be key to bullet choices

It's not difficult but there are some golden rules.
You must lubricate the brass with the right lube prior to sizing.
You must have accurate scales that come down to low grain weight or a set of powder dippers and a chart to refer to for the powder you are using.

Other than that the basic of kit will get you started.
Look at powders in recognised data and then cross reference a powder burn rate chart to find what you have available locally to see if you are in the right powder speed rate then check manufacturers data of said powder for your cartridge.
