NGO insurance

On reading the info about the ngo insurance, it looks like it would cover a guide that takes out paying guests.
Is this correct?
Has anyone taken out this policy for this reason?
Or am i missing something and its not fit for purpose?

Pretty sure Not for paying guests but does cover any one who you are guiding not for profit.

It says theres no limit on income made by insured activities.

It doesn't cover venison sales if you are putting it through a business. It's a very confusing area and I had to get clarity from the underwriters.

To @homer question on guiding - I think you would need to contact the underwriters for complete clarity but my reading is it would not cover you. I believe the "professional" side relates to you undertaking deer stalking activities if being paid (i.e. as a gamekeeper) not covering a 3rd party you were guiding.

13. Are guests covered when either shooting or observing.​

Yes, guests would be covered if injured by an NGO member whilst observing.

If shooting as a guest of a NGO member, having for example borrowed their gun, and subsequently caused property damage or bodily injury to a third party then the NGO member’s policy would be expected to respond, assuming that they are supervised by the insured NGO member. (If they are regular shooters and have their own gun then it would expect that they would also have their own insurance.)
