I have , or the mrs has a 19 plate one, the best we have had is 42 mpg but on average high 30s , don't think I would have another.Depends on the age.
I have had a 2019 model since new and the only issue has been that the rear discs wire out recently. Other than this, rock solid.
Easily get 55-60 mpg on long runs, and she is very comfortable.
Do get the heated seats if you can, otherwise Amazon sell some good electric seat covers - lovely on a cold morning.
All due respect to your friend you can call a HK G3 ( i know G3 is the full auto designation ) a lot of things but not a plastic **** rifle . If he is referring to one of the **** clones of the G3 that are essentially cobbled together from parts kits then maybe you can say they are **** .They are strongly built as my pal will testify, he loaded his .308 H&K semi auto using the inside light to see what he was doing yup bang off goes it and he sent the bullet into his drivers seat severing the wire to the seat belt tensioner but there is no hole in the bodywork underneath the seat, the seat absorbed all the forces. ND happened two days ago and he has still not settled down and him being a 40 years of experience hunter. He calls the H&K a plastic s::t rifle.
Nice! Thank you.Been running a 2004 2.5 petrol T30 for near on the last 16 years and love it to bits, it’s served me very well over the years, never been stuck in mud or snow and I have challenged it off road on numerous and countless occasions, self maintained at very little cost, from 37k miles to around 113k miles at present and never failed a test, typical service items replaced over the years such as tyres and brakes, disc etc., 3 x middle exhausts ( latest one this last month prior to next weeks mot), two front springs and a starter motor , will run this till the wheels fall off and goodness knows what it will get replaced with. Saw a rust free import on autotrader a short while ago which could be an option for you
One thing I recall was always an issue with my 2006 x-trail was the handbrake was a pain to get through the MOT every year. Even having all the cables replaced the hub brakes were never very powerful.
