I can see the pard is making a very good impression on the majority of people but im sending mine back i received my pard just before xmas i already have a daveG add- on ,tried the pard on the rifle , good picture but seeing as my scope is set quite far back i found i have little or no cheek weld , now i could move the scope forward but then its no good for day shooting without moving it and having to re- zero every time , or i could get a stock extender or i could get a picatinny rail and QD mounts if i want to spend another £300 , but then i may as well go dedicated but none of those take away the fact that the image through daveGs add on trumps the pard by a hell of a long way with the e700 camera in it
The pard is a cracking little unit but it could be a great unit with a better camera , i know there are people on NV forums looking at finding a bettter camera and are already changing the 16mm lens for a 12mm
I think the pard will become a great unit through DIYs changing this and that much the same as the photon got doublers fitted and then the xtreme version
Im not knocking the pard in any way ,shape or form it is a good unit that is just waiting to become a great unit which will happen in time and to all those that have them enjoy , this is just my opinion and until the pard comes to its full potential i will stick with mr Gs great little add - on
