Old heads

I have a couple heads that where left that I was going to prep
The skin /flesh has pop partly gone and skull is reasonable visible is possible to boil out the heads like this or is there anyway please
Up for ideas

The short answer is yes, but I doubt you'll ever get rid of the smell. Probably best displayed outdoors.....

Out of interest, how old are they? I've often wondered about cleaning up the collection of African heads I've got kicking about in my workshop (buffalo, kudu, bushbuck etc), but they're at least 35 years old, maybe more. Looks like they were just skinned and then treated with some kind of preservative before shipping to the UK, and they haven't been touched since!
