Through the most part I would agree with what your saying in a general shooting term m8 I have always chose to support local shops but in this instance my pots aren't trying to pop a rabbit at 75 yards there shooting 25-50 yards at a 200mm steal plates, we're not overly looking at accuracy more about chucking rounds down range for a bit of fun and some "tactical" / safety training (I used the quoted tactical term cos both boys are cadets and want to put what they lean on actions mixed up with some warped calls of duty **** lol)
When the boys are target practicing for hunting there having to consistently put rounds to a £2 grouping ( I use a £2 coin cos when first taking them out that's all I had on me and said that your average size for a rabbit headshot)
At that point there using the cz 455 17hmr or sometime the 17 hornet
All I'm looking for is a 22lr round that's as cheap as possible and if the firing pin hits it,,,,,,, it goes boom and some lead fly's out of then I can't say I have ever used any ammunition that's not capable of being with a 200mm grouping at 25-50 yards
