I called in my local yesterday to ask my chap to get me a price on another Zulus for the 22.
While he was taking notes I asked about the two PARD scopes on the back counter.
He had got them in for a customer that then jibbed on him and he just kept them.
One had the IR light only and the other was the basic tube only unit.
Well I don't like them IR and LR pods sticking up on the PARD scope units so I was intrigued by the basic unit.
I asked how much would he like for it and a price was settled and without any money changing hands he offered it to me to try.
So last night I got it fitted and fitted an IR light.
I was impressed with what I was seeing and using it's controls out into the back field. I just need an SD card.
Jumping forward to today I got it zeroed in no time but what I was really impressed with was the ballistic calculator!
Simple as simple is! Just punch some values in, save, dial a range in, guessed or measured and bloody hell, it is very very close!!
I adjusted the velocity parameter to fine tune the drop and yeah, very impressed.
Just got to get it onto some varmints now
