The post was asking BASC to spread the petition - Nothing more nothing less

We just can't take the risk, putting aside the lead projectile issue where on earth did that shooting harms pregnant women come from? Not even Packham and Animal Aid had come up with that one. Whatever good BASC/WAGBI might have done in the past who needs enemies when the shooting community has friends like this?

According to the GOV website, there were 147,140 firearm certificates on issue as at 31 March 2023 and there were 500,894 shotgun certificates on issue as at 31 March 2023. And the petition has not reached 20k yet!
Needs sharing, spreading and educating. Every rifle range and clay club should be telling people to get it signed. All those sitting in their hides looking for pigeons and ducks and do not think this will not effect them, are in for a shock, especially the clay community. If this does not unite shooters, we are all doomed.

20 k in a day i dont think is bad - We do need to keep spreading the word though - you are defo right - every clay ground - game shoot - farm - retailer etc etc

I didn't bring BASC into the conversation, there's other more dependable shooting organisations that we should be looking at to represent our cause. I'm afraid that BASC must stand accountable not just to its own members but to the shooting community in general. To reiterate, given their recent history I'd be far happier for BASC to stay out of the matter.

Ok, I'm afraid that we'll have to agree to differ on whether or not BASC are reliably 100% behind the shooting community or whether they side with the antis as and when it suits them.
