Green is cool but given you shouldn't see the bedding when the metalwork is in place you may wish to consider cutting back the top edges and then filling with a matching wood dye crayon once the action is in place. I did this with my hornet and when the wax-like filler starts to break-up/ware down simply add some more and burnish to the height of stock edge:

- 100g Colour pigment: Buy Epoxy colour pigments - East Coast Fibreglass
- Mixing kit: Mixing kit - East Coast Fibreglass Supplies
- Clear shoe polish will do for the release agent.
Good advert for East Coast Fibreglass Supplies - I use them for all my fiberglass supplies when boatbuilding (currently a 26ft lifting keel yacht with estimated finishing time of 2 years)
They are really good, and I will continue to use them when I get a chance to make more carbon fibre stocks.
