Looking for suggestions on a small pocket knife or keyring knife for the wife.

She's been badgering me to get her something so she can open boxes at work.

Thanks in advance

Victorinox Classic.

Just sent this one to a mate Vancouver Island BC and had his name engraved on it.

I have same Victorinox classic little knife and its really handy but if shes predominantly doing cardboard boxes then a serrated blade is better.

If it is literally going to be used just for opening boxes I’d personally go with something simple with replaceable blades, like this:

If it’s for general utility, and occasional opening of boxes, then the SAK is a great option.

I have a bunch of spydies, and love them to bits, but I do find they tend to be designed to appeal to men rather than women.

Whatever you get I'd suggest that you get one with the main blade at the opposite end to the keyring. They are a lot more practical in use IMHO.

I also have one of these which although not for a keyring are not too big. Available in various colours and more versatile for cardboard boxes, rope etc. with the half plain half serrated blade 👍
