The innards of that sheath are basically now made to measure around the profile of the P90, that second row of stitching secures the sheath outer layers to welt just about directly at the edge of the blade, it means that even over time, if glue fails, those three layers remain firmly fixed ensuring the blade will not cut through.
 
I have been thinking about these knives, this thread and this intro offer.

I am thinking that I will mark them as sold tonight, all 50 aren't sold but any remainder that I have after I have honoured the orders placed through here and elsewhere will be offered as finished items, sheathed and ready to go, and in all honesty for a bit more money.

Further thinking behind that is not through avarice and is twofold, firstly, and probably least importantly, they should be more money 😂 . They aren't enough all considered but that is my problem, not yours.

Secondly, I think that everyone that has literally bought into this project at this stage and is sat patiently waiting deserves this deal, I'm not convinced though that folk who are waiting to pounce at the latter end when all are sat ready necessarily do?!

The deal is always sweeter when you buy 'off the plans' so many thanks to those that did it 🙏

Still working towards the first of these leaving this week, drilled an extra hole today though to see how that works out 😬 😂

There has always been a hole positioned in the tangs of these knives, the plan was never to utilise it for this run though, that said it works well simply drilled out (no tube liner) so if you'd like yours drilling through, and you can catch me in time (it has to be drilled before I fit the scales), drop me a line in our existing chat and I'll try and make it so for you.

This one is actually a P120 but the same principal applies.

Evening all, I'll have knives ready to go tomorrow and the first batch of leather sheaths with me in the morning too, so the first knives to leave will be the leather sheath only ones, left or right handed, both fine (not the Kydex or leather and Kydex ones).

By my reckoning (and spreadsheet) there are enough knives in the photo below to furnish that.

So if you are a leather only I will be dropping you a line either tonight or early tomorrow, if you see this and I have not already then please drop me one, best to use our own ongoing means of chat too, so all is in one place.

If there is a balance to pay, obviously that will need sorting, I will need your delivery address too please.

Hands on today. Yep, that’ll work!

First impressions are it feels lovely and solid for a little knife. I’d have no issues doing a red stag with one but it’s also got the precision to do a muntjac with ease. Very much looking forward to using it in earnest!

And as ever, it was a pleasure doing business with Mr Mitchell 😁😁
