Positioning of larder lights

Evening All
As per title, for those who have built their larders, have put your light strips on the ceiling or at the top of the walls ?
Reason I ask is regarding shadows, what’s peoples experience and is there a preferred position or is it much of a muchness ?

Mine has a strip light directly above the skinning rail and it works just fine for me, even though it’s not a very bright lamp and it doesn’t have a diffuser on it.
 
Will be fitting IP66 4ft or 5ft LED battens in both butchery/prep area and in the chiller/skinning area which are fairly modest sized 1600mm x 2200mm & 2400mm x 2200mm all ceilings and walls white so the light should bounce about enough.
