A wee bit of advice: Apply less pressure when tightening scope turret caps and you won’t need to visit the Lakeland jam making department.

I do actually have an AI drag bag (it came with the rifle), but as this rifle is the most expensive I own, I thought I would 'invest' in a hard case for it.

I like to make use out of my rifles and even the AI get to go stalking.

I bought an AI AX and for no valid reason that even I would fall for.

Initially had a slot for .338 but discovered at the last minute that I could not use that calibre at Bisley so changed it down.

It is in .308 and I thought when I bought it I could perhaps take it out on the hill.
It is a fantastic bit of kit and I now have it dialled in for 100 to 1000 yards.

Take it out on the hill? I can barely take it out of the boot of the car.

Very solid bit of kit and has introduced me to long-range shooting and precision reloading.

Its a practical precision uk sling. I dont belive he is no longer trading. Shame as i got the sling and a few bags off him and there all very good quality.

Sorry to hear that. I made my purchases when they had a website up and was delivered in a fews days. Looks like i got lucky. When i was looking for the website just then so i could remember the name it seems theres multiple that has had issues with these guys.

This has been a very interesting thread, and provoked me to go and weigh my rifle:
Tikka T3 Hunter, .308W, DPT moderator, Andy’s Leather sling, and a 1-8x24 scope.
I mainly shoot in woods and fields, and it’s a lovely setup for me.
But I would never have guessed it weighed 9lbs 6oz/4.3kg: I thought it was lighter than that!
