Pulsar C50 Digex?

What are the regs governing online sales?
If you buy and just don’t like something, are you entitled to return if for a refund, even if it’s not faulty?
Ken.

Yes, try before you buy and if you dont like it send it back at your expense.

?? How do you try before you by with internet sales?
Cheers, Ken.
If you buy online the law says you have a 14 day “cooling off period” to allow you to decide if you want to return the item for a refund.
Most online sellers will confirm this if you ask them.
I wanted to upgrade my thermal but couldnt find the one i fancied locally so bought one online knowing i could return it for a refund if it wasnt an improvement on my existing unit, had the benefit of being able to take it out on my land for a realistic test at night rather than standing looking up the road outside a shop.
Likewise you could buy a scope and take it out to try at your own leisure, as long as you dont mark or damage it you can return if its not suitable.

As PP Says is true , but be careful from where you buy , I returned a item to be told it was not as sent out , it was , and there for I got a credit , and not my money back
some where way down south by the sea side if I remember

So it’s possible that someone buys online and they get sent an item that someone else has previously returned after using it in the field?
Or would such items be sold off as demo models?
Thanks, Ken.

If the item and packaging is undamaged i would imagine so.
No different to walking into a shop and asking for a look at something and deciding not to buy it, just gets put back in its box and back on the shlef.

The basis for the 14 day trial period is that if they are not wanted, the returned goods have to be in a marketable condition.
i.e undamaged and with all the original packaging also undamaged, such that they can be sold as new
However, it is often the case that sellers of returned goods will sell them off as "open box" or demo goods

Went and looked at a Alpex locally this morning.
As someone posted here, the front focus would need a coaster for most people and definitely would for me.
They also had the ones with ir units in the box so they kindly opened one of those and the focusing was slightly easier but still not to my liking.
I’ve no idea whether the C50 focuses any easier, so need to know that before pulling the trigger on one or the other.
Ken.

Here again, sorry.
Anyone tell me the minimum height from top of pic rail to underside of both Alpex and C50 please.
This to decide ring height.
Thanks Ken.

The widest part of the objective lens on the C50 is 68mm so minus the 30mm tube divided by 2 is 19mm to bring everything level.
Ring height will depend on whether you are mounting straight to the receiver dovetail or a picatinny rail.
