Turn the unit on and wait it will show a % when connected to a charger..

Hmmm mines not doing that and the level hasn’t gone up in the last 1.5 hours either.
First my Brattonsound cabinet went wrong, hope I’ve not received a duff c50 (it wasn’t from Blackwoods before anyone thinks that).

So it’s turning on mark when charging the unit mate the charging icon should be on the bottom of the scren on the right hand side next to two battery symbols
Yep, that’s not happening.
Took the removable battery out and charged that in the standalone charger.
Used same plug and a lead I know that works, into the side turret of the c50 and nothing doing.
Think it’ll be going back tomorrow

you may be using the wrong lead I’m sure it’s a different connection to the scope from the stand alone ( please don’t shout at me )

It’s my bad wording - stand-alone charger has its own lead. That works ok.
Using the same plug, and two different usc leads (one of which I know works as I use it with my pulsar thermal) just isn’t getting the power into the c50 internal battery so it would seem.

one last thing , try turning the scope off , then turn on but hold down start up button for 30 seconds , this should re boot the unit , then try the charger again

Yes. The problem I had is that there was no ‘lightning’ symbol so therefore nothing to indicate that the internal battery was charging (which it wasn’t).
David Evans sorted it out for me though - system reboot rules - same as all computer things

Nice viewing screen and solidly built.
Fairly intuitive (albeit I’m already used to pulsar offerings).
That’s all you’re getting until I use it in anger
You know where I reckon I’ll end up with my view……….doesn’t do any more than the Pard or Wulf offerings, but it’s just ‘nicer’ to use. That’s what I reckon I’ll say.
