for big deer we just have a thick rubber mat with a chain to loop over the tow bar, easy to drag deer onto then tie their heads to the back of the quad and off you go, keeps them clean and no chance of tipping it over!

no because their heads are tied to the back of the bike, the mat is wider than the bike. with stags we tie 1 antler. take the bike out on an ifor williams on the back of the 4x4, if its just 1-2 deer shot you can just drive the quad straight up the ramp on to the trailer with the mat, sometimes back ends are still on the ramp but its an easy lift to shut the ramp.
