Does any know where I can purchase a replacement middle poise for a set of 5-0-5 scales, please

Just looking at my scales, it looks like there rcbs scales but have a 5-0-2 beam so haven't got a missing middle poise.

Will this configuration still be Ok?

What seems to be the problem Simon - The 502 is a two poise scale and the RCBS 505 is a three poise scale (Both use the same body) If you have a 505 beam with a missing center poise I don't think RCBS will send you a spare poise as a replacement.

Its a 505 body with a 502 beam, just trying to establish if there this would make any difference but sounds like it won't if both 505 and 502 body are same.

Presumably beams are interchangeable

Yes, both bodies are the same and technically the simple two poise 502 is a better bet, they both have exactly the same knife edge/floating agate bearings but the center poise on the 505 can lead to repeatablity problems.

Contact RCBS customer service... they may take a while but I've always had success with them sending replacement parts FOC
They're very helpful in this respect
