So we are agreed then? JC isnt 1/3 of the price of others, his costs are actually comparable, for £550 you get a £200 barrel fitted, for a £400 barrel he would be £750 ish. Thats fitted on a "fit for purpose" lathe using basic tooling and guages, producing hunting accuracy rifles. The other guys use tooling thats the best in the business, delivering work to a better than necessary standard. The extra £50 gets you piece of mind that youve had the best.
looking forward to getting my rifle back, i'll do a write up when it arrives, tell you if my £50 was worth it!
