1959 would make it a push feed type would it? I keep hearing about how good the BSA barrels were, so maybe the odds are with you! I'd love an early BSA

Yes your right the Majestic is a push feed and the action is very smooth and this period the barrels are cut rifled I believe and lapped. The stock is a lighter colour that this one:-

but it looks the same otherwise . Of course some like the heavier fore stock of the US export version.
