Recommend a bipod

I was hoping to buy a detachable bipod like the UTG Recon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/UTG-Heavy-Duty-Recon-Bipod/dp/B01939Q5HU
However, it appears that they are sold out everywhere.
Can anyone recommend a quick detachable bipod that can attach to the sling swivel stud?
I’ve currently got Harris bipods but there’s nothing quick about mounting them!

A quick google using the search sling swivel picatinny mount prints up a an Amazon king for the picatinny rail for £12.99. This is a three block picatinny rail much larger than the utg model. This will allow you to pick any picatinny mountable bipod with a QR lever without having to drill your stock.

I would honestly consider drilling your stock and permanently fixing a rail for better stability.

I have a Spartan - I haven’t gotten around to fixing to my rifle yet, but from reading the instructions the adapter plate fits under the sling stud and then the sling stud is screwed back on top of it. It looks to be a quality piece of kit, and I too got fed up with my Harris. The Spartan seems simple enough to attach unless you’ve thread locked your sling stud into your stock….ask me how I know

I had a UTG it was crap. Very slow to set up. Fiddly, was a nightmare for stalking.

QD Harris on a pic rail is my vote, you can convert existing Harris with adaptors.

Unless you are up the hill dragging it in a slip then just leave it on. You are going to have to carry it anyway
