Red or Sika?

A friend sent me this picture of the antlers and bonnet! And has asked are they red or sika? Anyone got the answer?

pretty sure its a sika glenbuck although it does have some size of a skull

Definitely sika based on the angle of the brow tines and the width of the gap between each antler.

Thanks guys, the brow tines was what stuck out for me (pardon the bunt) but no expert on Sika. I can let her know now, they came from her father's house and she remembers him returning from Lochgilphead 25year ago with them.

Inside span has no bearing upon this but the prominent frontal beam ridges have.
I have shot some Sika as narrow and many much wider than the one shown.

Yeh good thanks Jim, was up north a few weeks back and saw well over 20 out on the open ground, only two though inside my boundary and they were female arhh! You'll have to go and nail some for me, they eat my trees and that hurts my feelings!
