Hi all, long time since I have been on here, I have always had good info from members in the past, so here’s my question.
Has anyone tried using h4198 (ar2207)for reduced loads for a 6.5 Swede?
I know you can use trail boss and also h4895 (ar2206h) but as trail boss is a unicorn and 4895 is held tightly as it’s not available at the moment in Australia and I have 1.5kg’s of 4198 on hand.
Why the reduced loads you ask, I have 2 kids that are getting more interested in hunting and I don’t want to buy another rifle in 223 and a 22 hornet is a bit small for large pigs. The Swede running a lighter projectile running a bit slower will have the energy but not the recoil/noise to let them get the experience and to see if they like hunting hopefully without being scared of the rifle.
