I am not aware of any government schemes involved. Perhaps you could explain where you got that idea from?Too date this initiative is something of a deceit. Billed as a possible opportunity to provide more access to deer management through government schemes but used by BASC to enhance mentoring opportunities for members .
Not exactly “their finest hour.”
Perhaps because those that don't have left?Good to hear and the vast majority of BASC members feel the same way.
Yes, I think Tim we all know that you left BASC, you must have said so a hundred times or more.Perhaps because those that don't have left?
Oh at least I'm sure, but isn't it self evident that those of us who believe that BASC no longer represents the voice of shooting have left?Yes, I think Tim we all know that you left BASC, you must have said so a hundred times or more.
what age did you start your shooting journey Conor?Good to hear and the vast majority of BASC members feel the same way.
Is that when the name changed?BASCbeen killing british shooting since 1981
You can add me to that club tooYes, I think Tim we all know that you left BASC, you must have said so a hundred times or more.
In fairness, you don't go on and on nearly half as much as Tim, perhaps it's deflection on his part and he would love to rejoinYou can add me to that club too
Absolutely not, I'm getting a far better deal with the NGO who themselves were formed by disgruntled BASC members. In my opinion you get a far better deal for less money and they've made far more sensible comments about the Government/LAG lead ban than BASC. But that's not all, there's much more to it than that. If you're a BASC member check out the NGO website and see if it wouldn't suit you better. In fairness, you don't go on and on nearly half as much as Tim, perhaps it's deflection on his part and he would love to rejoin![]()
I don’t wish to offend but hell will freeze over before I rejoin! In fairness, you don't go on and on nearly half as much as Tim, perhaps it's deflection on his part and he would love to rejoin![]()

I see they provide courses such as DSC1, Night Shooting, Game/Meat Hygiene etc which I have already; what other events do they provide for their members in the South of England.Absolutely not, I'm getting a far better deal with the NGO who themselves were formed by disgruntled BASC members.
