Too date this initiative is something of a deceit. Billed as a possible opportunity to provide more access to deer management through government schemes but used by BASC to enhance mentoring opportunities for members .
Not exactly “their finest hour.”
I am not aware of any government schemes involved. Perhaps you could explain where you got that idea from?

In fairness, you don't go on and on nearly half as much as Tim, perhaps it's deflection on his part and he would love to rejoin :-)
Absolutely not, I'm getting a far better deal with the NGO who themselves were formed by disgruntled BASC members. In my opinion you get a far better deal for less money and they've made far more sensible comments about the Government/LAG lead ban than BASC. But that's not all, there's much more to it than that. If you're a BASC member check out the NGO website and see if it wouldn't suit you better.

I see they provide courses such as DSC1, Night Shooting, Game/Meat Hygiene etc which I have already; what other events do they provide for their members in the South of England.
