I have plenty of empty brass which I want to do today as im bored,

they are all fired. Not worth the risks involved! If its to pull the main charge ? I have done this many times , you can fire off the primer ! If you really want the primers out live ? Its just not worth the risks !
just use a kinetic hammer to remove the bullet + powder and pop the dud primers outthey are all fired.
theres no bullet head or powder, they are just once fired empty cases. I have just ordered a tumbler so would like to prep these today, but havent ordered al the tools yet etcjust use a kinetic hammer to remove the bullet + powder and pop the dud primers out
Easiest way is to deprime them as you resize on a press. That way you know if they're resized or nottheres no bullet head or powder, they are just once fired empty cases. I have just ordered a tumbler so would like to prep these today, but havent ordered al the tools yet etc
So to get this right.... You have once fired brass and you want to pop the old primer out ? Your re-sizing die will come with a hardened pin that pops the primer out . Do not skip the resizing die part or you risk jamming cases in the die or being un-able to remove the brass from the rifle chamber .they are all fired.

If your brand new to this , get some hands on help from an experienced re-loader or read one of the many guide books on re-loading .
