Renewal coming up, can’t decide on what 300 to get?

Hi everyone hope your all well, I’ve got my renewal coming up and want to get a 300 something but can’t decide what to get yet? How would you write that on the application form? Or would I have to decide before completing it?

You could try asking for a .30 rifle but I suspect the FEO might something more specific

I tried that. No dice. But I do know people who have succeeded. He said to me, no you have to pick one, so I just said, Oh I dunno, 300 Win Mag then? Fine, he said. No problem. One day licensing will make complete sense.

This is what I was expecting to be honest, I want to do both with it, was swaying towards the win mag just for the ease of getting everything, I do like the sound of the 300prc.

When I applied for mine asked FEO for a .300 mag slot as wasn't sure what to get all ok ended up getting wm

Gets expensive using the .300 WM on rabbits but at least you don't have to waste time skinning them.

I shot rabbits and hares in NZ with a .300 win mag and they just turn into a red mushy pile of .... red mush
