The problem with just one rifle is if it breaks. I had a .17 and a ,243, one was not ejecting properly so went in for repair I had a hot round damage the extractor from the .243,
my fault but it was a load I had used before and the only change was I annealed the brass.. So that was both in for repair and it happened whilst my licence was in for a variation.
So when a repair was done I could not pick it up.
Had to get the Police to return the license after 5 weeks ( had not even looked at it ) just to have a rifle to shoot. Will then have to resend the license back for them to sit on in again no doubt because of Covid.
