Rifle bolt holster

I've got a spare leather bolt holster I never use if you are interested.

Its a custom made holster, fits standard calibres inc long action

If you are concerned about the rifle with its bolt being stolen whilst you are our and about....then stay at home. Or make sure that you rifle stays with you.

Alternatively, put a post on a suitable shooting forum to ask where you can get a bolt-holster - the thinking man's substitute for carrying a rifle into the lavatory at the motorway services.

Iv used a bolt holster for over ten years as I use a rifle daily and in and out of the truck all day I’m simply adding to the security I already have in the truck, what works for you may not work for me and visaversa. I don’t need sarcasm or smart answers just a recommendation of a factory made one as mine was made by a friend.
Online forum and sarcastic replies... surely not?!
In your circumstance sounds like the reasonable precaution that the police may expect for your circumstance.:thumb:
I don't need one, but the radar ones looked like quality products

I keep my bolts in those blue see through plastic Tesco tie top freezer bags when I am out of the house but not on the firing point. It's not a pretty solution but the bags are quite sturdy so keep any oil or grease on the bolt contained and they also stop any bits of dust or dirt getting onto the bolt. And if the grease builds up too much in the bag I use a new one.

I use differently coloured Napier ones to store the bolts in my separate safe to ensure I grab the right bolt for the right rifle but have been using a ballistic nylon holder for the last 3 years from AKAH to carry the in use rifle bolt separately on my belt and it’s stood the test of time extremely well, much better than my Casstrom leather knife sheath.

I don’t agree. It could quite easily become an excuse to revoke your certificate.
By all means remove and store your bolts separately. But it should be an individual and there specific circumstances.
I don’t like the idea of separating bolt from rifle. As if you’re one of the many who have more than one of the same make of rifle in different calibre’s. You have the potential to fit the wrong bolt with the associated head space problems that could entail.
Yes it is a remote chance. But if you had even experienced a breach failure you would be very wary too.
