Any recommendations for a basic rifle rest and cleaning station. Sub £50 preferably.

Some hi-tech solutions here, but for simplicity all that's necessary is a heavy plank of wood with a non-slip base.
This is a £9.99 wall shelf in pine from MFI with a couple of support brackets used as uprights, into which I cut U-shaped notches.
These were lined with strips of old carpet, and rimple-type underlay glued and tacked to the base.
It doesn't move around at all.;)

Patch Catcher- Cheap.
I use an empty 4-6 pint plastic milk container attached to the cleaning stand with thick elastic bands and slide over the barrel. Works a treat and cost nowt 🙂
